Sunday was authentically the worst of times for Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers. After getting completely smacked by the San Francisco 49ers in primetime, the confidence of the team surely was at a low point.

Thankfully, though, some good news has arrived on Monday, as the organization was given a positive update on star offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga.

Bulaga went down with a knee injury early on and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game during Sunday Night Football. Immediately, fans feared the worst, thinking it was potentially a season-ending ACL injury.

However, it's been reported Bulaga's knee injury is a minor one, and he's only expected to miss a few weeks. Obviously, this is tremendous news for Aaron Rodgers, who had a night to forget against SF.

Despite Sunday's loss, Green Bay remains at the top of the NFC North standings at 8-3. However, with the Vikings also at 8-3 (the Pack beat them earlier this season), the race for the division title is much too close for comfort.

For the Packers to make a strong claim for that title and push for a deep run in the NFC postseason, they'll no doubt need Bulaga as close to 100% as possible down the stretch.
