Packers Clearly Building for the Future and Disregarding Super Bowl Window Should Have Fans Infuriated
By Andrew Gullotta

The Packers may have been just one game away from the Super Bowl last year, but instead of building towards a Lombardi, they have started to look towards the future. The team selected quarterback Jordan Love and running back AJ Dillon in the first two rounds, which is surprising considering the Packers have former MVP Aaron Rodgers and 1,000 yard rusher Aaron Jones at the positions.
By not acquiring some players at positions of need, the Packers decided missed a chance to beef up a contending roster, which will undoubtedly anger fans.

This feeling by Packers' fans is definitely reasonable. They see other contenders, including the Vikings, Saints, and 49ers, filling positional needs at all costs, while Green Bay is sitting on their hands.
Even though they did sign Devin Funchess, the Pack still have a glaring need at wide receiver that they ignored during the first three rounds of draft. Additionally, after one of the most active free agency periods in 2019, Green Bay was relatively quiet this offseason.
Don't even care what happens in the next five rounds.

As the draft winds down to a close on Saturday, general manager Brian Gutekunst and coach Matt LaFleur will have a lot of explaining to do to the Packer faithful after drafting to positional strengths, instead of filling the team's needs.
