Absolutely Ridiculous MNF Coincidence Proves Packers Could Upset Vikings Tonight
By Michael Luciano

The Minnesota Vikings might be one of the most complete rosters in the league from top to bottom, but that still doesn't mean they can and should overlook Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.
Kirk Cousins' struggles in primetime are well known, and his No. 8 could be his undoing this week. Since 2005, only one quarterback wearing No. 8 at home in Monday Night Football in the month of December has ever covered the spread.

Since 2005, QBs wearing No. 8 are 1-18-1 against the spread at home on MNF in the month of December.
(Mark Brunell, Sam Bradford, Mike Glennon, Marcus Mariota, Matt Schaub, Matt Moore, Matt Hasselbeck, & Kirk Cousins)
Packers are 4.5-point underdogs tonight.
Cousins' struggles in primetime truly know no bounds.
Someone's ineptitude streak has got to go. Rodgers has yet to win at Minnesota's US Bank Stadium in his three starts on the road, while Cousins has yet to win on Monday Night Football in eight tries. Rodgers will be wearing No. 12, which gives him a massive advantage.

Cousins certainly doesn't have the best track record in primetime games, and this matchup has all the makings of yet another loss in front of the entire country given how apparently cursed the No. 8 is this time of year.
