Davante Adams Trolls Soft NFL in Sarcastic Tweet After Joke Penalty for Chest Bump vs 49ers

If the NFL is setting a standard, we're not quite sure what it is.
In the Packers-49ers game on Sunday afternoon, Davante Adams was flagged for his celebration after picking up a nice gain. Adams bumped a 49ers DB in the chest, and received a 15-yard penalty as a result. Packers players and fans were rightfully furious with the officiating, but Adams is taking it in stride.

Credit to Adams, who rather than complaining on social media understands that nothing can be done to change the official's decision at this point. Not to mention, the Packers lost by 29 points on Sunday. One call wouldn't have made much of a difference.

The replay doesn't do the officials any favors, either. Adams was just jawing with his opponent, nothing more.

Adams and the Packers have bigger problems than throwing venom at the league office for one call. While the Pro Bowl receiver is finally re-acclimated into the Packers offense following a lengthy injury absence, Green Bay's offense was lacking against San Francisco.
Still, we're glad Adams could get in a laugh.
