VIDEO: Packers Complete Comeback With Allen Lazard TD and Game-Winning Mason Crosby FG in 4th
By Sam Dunn
What a comeback! Despite a sluggish start that saw the Green Bay Packers head into the halftime break down 17-3 against the division-rival Lions, Aaron Rodgers and Co. finished off the job. After Matt Prater's field goal put Detroit back in front by seven, Rodgers uncocked this 28-yard offering for Allen Lazard, who had to go upstairs to secure the goods and let his momentum take him into the end zone.
That tied the game late in the fourth.
Then Rodgers and Aaron Jones led the Pack down the field with under a minute remaining, and Mason Crosby did the rest!
Whew! That high snap and squeaker inside the left upright no doubt had the Packer faithful breathing heavily, but that's the game! Green Bay secured a first-round bye and will at the very least be the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
