Packers Drop Friday's Injury Report Ahead of Game Against Redskins
By Chris Russo
Leading up to an important game this weekend against the Washington Redskins, this is not what Packers fans were hoping to see.
On Friday, Green Bay released its injury report, and stud running back Jamaal Williams was added to the list due to a knee injury.
Williams, who has six total touchdowns thus far this campaign, was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. Veteran lineman Bryan Bulaga was among those who remained limited as well.
However, there is good news for the Packers. Tight end Jimmy Graham, wide receiver Ryan Grant and cornerback Tramon Williams all participated in practice Thursday despite not doing so on Wednesday. Graham was limited due to calf and wrist injuries, and it appears Grant has recovered from an illness. Williams, meanwhile, merely sat out for rest.
This weekend, Green Bay will take on a hapless 3-9 Redskins team. Green Bay's stars will look to stay focused on this game, and then get mentally prepared for two monster showdowns against the Bears and Vikings, respectively.
