Packers failed Aaron Rodgers by not trading for a WR

You've almost got to feel for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers at this point. The star signal-caller has next to no help on the outside, as this team is missing a true No. 1 wide receiver to make plays for him.
The hope for Packers fans was that general manager Brian Gutekunst would make a trade for a wideout to improve the offense. Nothing went down on Tuesday, and it's disappointing to see.
Of all the teams quiet today around the NFL trade deadline, the Packers are the most mystifying to me.

At 3-5, you've got to make a significant move to upgrade the offense. If not, then sell a few spare parts in hopes of getting better for '23 and beyond.
Rodgers has been let down by this front office time and time again, with more of the same coming on Tuesday. It's looking like it's going to be a long rest of the season for Cheeseheads everywhere.
