Packers Fans Likely to Dominate Attendance in Los Angeles This Week
By Chris Pyo
Who would've ever thought that the Green Bay Packers would have a home game in sunny Los Angeles? That's exactly what's shaping up to happen this Sunday when the Packers go on the road to face the Los Angeles Chargers.
According to Vivid Seats, around 70% of the seats at Dignity Health Sports Park will be filled by Packers fans. Maybe Aaron Jones will actually have a spot to do the Lambeau Leap in L.A. of all places.
Secondary market ticket brokers aren't the only people who are predicting this: Al Michaels even said that he thinks Packers fans will make up over 80% of fans at the stadium, which is astounding. Chargers fans, where are you guys?
Because the Packers are one of the NFL's most exciting teams, currently sitting at 7-1, ticket prices have been driven up by resellers. And this shouldn't be shocking: You're paying for quality.
What's absurd is that the cheapest low-cost seat for the Packers-Chargers game is currently sitting at $372. Only Packers fans would pay that much, on top of a flight and hotel accommodations nonetheless, to see their glorious MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers tear up the Chargers' secondary.
The cheeseheads better get ready to experience some summer in November.
