Packers FB Danny Vitale Rocks Badass Outfit Repping Fullbacks That Would Make John Kuhn Proud
By Scott Rogust
There are less than 24 hours left until the opening kickoff of the 100th season in the NFL. Of course, it's only fitting that the first game of 2019 is between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
Considering it's one of the oldest rivalries, it's quite possible the Packers could use an old school technique rarely used in today's NFL.
Green Bay's Danny Vitale hinted at it on Wednesday via his attire, that being a "Make Fullbacks Great Again" hat.
That's the look of a man motivated to blow up any fantasy football team that rostered running back Aaron Jones.
Can you just imagine Vitale lining up at the goal line and rushing in for a touchdown? He would cause the fantasy football world to implode, just like what John Kuhn used to do years ago.
The thing is, Vitale has yet to log a rushing attempt in his four-year career. However, he is active in the passing game, as he caught eight passes for 48 yards.
The fullback is a dying breed in today's NFL, and Danny Vitale wants to change that in 2019.
