Packers FB Danny Vitale Tweets Funny Reminder to Friends and Well-Wishers on Twitter
By Sam Dunn

Fans of the Green Bay Packers can sit back and watch today's slate of NFL games without having to be unduly distracted by the play of their own team, because the Pack don't play in Week 6 until the tail end. They're hosting the Lions on Monday Night Football-- a fact fullback Danny Vitale felt the need to reiterate via Twitter amid some well-meaning but inaccurate comments he's apparently been hearing.
Would just like to remind everyone who keeps wishing me luck in our game today that we, in fact, do not play today. Thank you for the kindness tho lol #MondayNightFootball #GoPackGo

It never hurts to get some pre-emptive good vibes in your favor. But in this case, assuming that every NFL player actually plays on Sunday in a given week is a case of when keeping it real goes wrong.
Vitale won't sweat the small stuff, though. The third-year blocking back has appeared in all five games for Green Bay this season after combining to make just 18 appearances in his first two NFL seasons, both in Cleveland.
