Packers Get Secondary Help by Activating Ibraheim Campbell off PUP

After a disappointing showing in Los Angeles last Sunday in which their defense was exposed on multiple levels, the Green Bay Packers have made a minor roster move they hope help avoids such a dilemma in the future.
Green Bay is activating Ibraheim Campbell off PUP, a player who actually started a game for the Packers last season and appeared in two others. The oft-injured DB will step right into the secondary in a backup role, while LB Tim Williams was released to make room on the roster.

Campbell was re-signed by the Packers this April, but has yet to see action this season due to injury woes. The former fourth-round pick out of Northwestern has played for the Browns, Jets, Cowboys and the Pack, playing a vital role on special teams for the majority of his career.

Campbell's long and arduous recovery from an ACL tear will make for a compelling storyline in the second half of the year for Packers team full of them.
