Anonymous NFL Coach Says Packers Think Jordan Love is the Next Patrick Mahomes and We Might Throw Up
By Michael Luciano

The projections for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love's NFL future have been all over the place. While he throws a javelin-like football with accuracy to all levels of the field, has a cannon for a right arm, and can make plays with his legs, naysayers will point to his poor productions (19 TDs, 17 INTs) in a non-Power 5 conference as a reason he will flop in the pros.
One NFL coach thinks that the Packers were so smitten with Love's positive traits that they really think he can be as good a quarterback as Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes.

In what world is Love like Patrick Mahomes? Is it because he occasionally makes a throw downfield on the run? Is it because he isn't welded to the pocket like some immobile quarterback prospects?
There's clearly a lot to like when it comes to Love as a prospect, as the arm talent and playmaking ability are definite plus traits, but let's slow down on the hype with him. He lacks the rare arm talent and ability to avoid turnovers that Mahomes had coming out of college and still has today.
This is the type of throw that reminds me of Aaron Rodgers, or even Patrick Mahomes.

Nobody is open, scrambles to his right, throws an absolute dime off his back foot.

With the Aaron Rodgers era officially on the clock, there's a lot for Packers fans to look forward to once Love assumes the starting role. However, those hoping he becomes the next Mahomes will be severely disappointed.
