VIDEO: Packers LB Za'Darius Smith's Mom Has Adorable Reaction After Receiving Her Christmas Gift
Last offseason, the Green Bay Packers signed linebacker Za'Darius Smith to a four-year $66 million dollar deal with a signing bonus of $20 million. Needless to say, he became a very rich man. This year, Smith shocked his mother with what appears to be a massive check for Christmas, leaving her jaw dropped permanently.

This incredibly sweet gesture by Smith is an endearing glimpse into who he is as a person. For a player in the midst of a career year (13.5 sacks so far this season, 5 more than his previous career best) it seems like Smith has avoided having his head in the clouds. And he showed his appreciation to the woman who made his NFL career possible.
Smith's mom's reaction when she finally gets her glasses on and reads the card (and whatever else is in there) is truly amazing. She's in utter disbelief by the gesture from her son.

Smith's journey to the top has been inspiring to say the least, as he has succeeded in spite of all of the obstacles life has thrown at him. It's safe to say that his determination to persevere comes from his mother, who raised him and his brother by herself. For this, she has been rewarded with an incredible gift from her son.
