Packers DE Montravius Adams Arrested in Georgia for Marijuana Possession Among Other Alleged Crimes
By Tyler Kemp
Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Montravius Adams was arrested in Houston County, Georgia Tuesday night. The 2017 third-round pick has been charged with three misdemeanors.
The charges formally include possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving without insurance, and driving with a suspended, canceled, or revoked vehicle registration.
He was released on bond a few hours after his arrest.
Adams was a standout performer in college at Auburn as he was a First Team All-SEC selection back in 2016. In his three years with Green Bay, Adams has accumulated 33 total tackles and 1.5 sacks in 37 games played and three starts.
Adams could face discipline from the Packers or the NFL under the league's personal conduct policy, but as of now, it's too early to predict further repurcussions related to this incident.
