VIDEO: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Discusses Being an Atheist on Girlfriend Danica Patrick's Podcast
By Scott Rogust

A couple of weeks ago, former stock car racer Danica Patrick revealed she was dropping an interview with boyfriend and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on her podcast, "Pretty Intense." The podcast featured a variety of topics, one of them being religion, of all things. It was at that point when Rodgers went into a deep discussion as to why he's an atheist.
.@AaronRodgers12 speaks very thoughtfully here to his partner @DanicaPatrick about being an atheist. “I don’t know how you can believe in a God who wants to condemn most of the planet to a fiery hell.” #GoPackGo https://t.co/VVSeT2HwAj

Rodgers revealed he was raised in a Christian family, and actively went to church as a child. In fact, he was a member of the Christian ministry's Young Life group. Once he got older, he began questioning the religion, especially in terms of the interpretation of the Bible.
Most notably, he questioned why people believe in God, who he says wants to "condemn most of the planet to a fiery hell."
When you happen to be dating Aaron Rodgers, getting him to be a guest on your podcast becomes a whole lot easier.
