Packers RB Aaron Jones Writes Heartfelt Letter to Military Serviceman Fan
By Jerry Trotta
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones is on pace to be named to his first career Pro Bowl, logging 496 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns to go with an additional 354 yards and three touchdowns through the air across nine games in 2019.
Well, it appears that Jones can do no wrong off the gridiron as well, as Sergeant Kegan Moffitt, a huge Packers fan, took to Twitter on Sunday to acknowledge the Texas product for a heartfelt letter he wrote to him in honor of Veteran's Day being on Monday, Nov. 11.
This is simply as good as it gets, folks, and the fact that both of Jones' parents served in and retired from the military makes the letter that much more special and genuine.
Moffitt even took the time to credit the work of a plethora of Packers' writers for backing the potential of Jones.
We couldn't agree more, and Jones' act of sincerity serves as a perfect reminder that some things are MUCH bigger than sports.
