Packers RB Jamaal Williams Checks in With Fans on Instagram Story After Terrifying Hit
By Adam Weinrib

Early on in Thursday's hard-fought Packers loss to Philadelphia, those in the stands watched the electric Green Bay offense with bated breath, worried about one of their own.
Running back Jamaal Williams took the brunt of a dirty hit, speared by DE Derek Barnett while being propped up by several other Eagles defenders. With very little to do with the play, the hit rendered Williams immobile, and he flashed a single thumbs up before departing Lambeau on a stretcher.
Friday morning, Williams emerged from his silence, sharing an Instagram story to let his fans know that he's alright. In fact, his pride is the only thing wounded.

For those who'd like another look at the play in question, it's quite clear the whistle was about to be blown; Williams had thoroughly been stopped prior to Barnett's entrance.

We hope Williams truly does feel recovered and isn't just putting on a pretty face so Green Bay's fans can feel a bit better in the wake of a tough loss.
