Packers Receive Relatively Positive Injury Update on Equanimeous St. Brown
By Michael Luciano

The Green Bay Packers' trip north of the border to Winnipeg went about as poorly as possible. They lost to the Oakland Raiders, the turf was in such bad condition that both teams were forced to play on an 80-yard field due to the end zones, and they lost two promising young players in Rashan Gary and Equanimeous St. Brown due to injury.
While many feared St. Brown's season was done after he was carted to the locker room with an ankle injury, the latest reports claim that St. Brown was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and will miss 4-6 weeks.
#Packers WR Equanimeous St. Brown suffered a high-ankle sprain in last night’s preseason game in Canada, source said. X-Rays were negative and the MRI indicated a high-ankle sprain that’ll likely knock him out 4-6 weeks.

Considering how bad it looked at the time, that has to be some sort of relief for the Packers.
The 6-5, 203-pound receiver was selected in the sixth round of the 2018 draft out of Notre Dame. St. Brown caught 21 passes for 328 yards last season across 12 games.
Aaron Rodgers has talked up both him and fellow young wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling extensively this offseason, so losing St. Brown for any period of time has to be crushing for the Packers.
A sprained ankle? Guy must be made of iron, that tackle damn near killed him.

St. Brown, in all his jump ball-winning splendor, will hopefully be back on the field at Lambeau once October rolls around. Things could have been much worse for the 22-year-old, and hopefully he's able to work his way back into the rotation once healthy.
