Packers Release Lengthy Injury Report Ahead of Week 5
By Michael Luciano
Injuries are a normal part of any given NFL season, but Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers have to be shaking their heads at how bad their luck has been early in this season.
Already down promising young receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, who was placed on IR in the preseason, 13 Packers were named on the injury report ahead of their Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys, including wide receiver Davante Adams, middle linebacker Blake Martinez, and starting cornerback Kevin King, with five players not practicing at all.
Those most likely to miss this game are Adams, who is currently week-to-week with turf toe, and Jamaal Williams, who was carted off the field after being knocked out cold by Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Derek Barnett.
There are some nuggets of good news to be found in this report, as it shows right tackle Bryan Bulaga and defensive tackle Montravius Adams returned to the practice field in some capacity.
Aaron Rodgers might have to work with the Packers' B-team in Jerry World given how lengthy and concerning this report looks.
