Rumors Swirling Packers to Host 2022 NFL Draft in Green Bay
By Michael Luciano
The NFL Draft went from hotel lobbies to Radio City Music Hall in New York City in just a few decades. Over the last few years, the league has decided to move the location of the draft around a bit, with the likes of Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Nashville all getting chances to host one of the biggest events of the NFL offseason.
Green Bay, Wisconsin could be the next city that the draft blesses with its presence, as rumors that claim Green Bay will be the host city of the 2022 draft continue to crop up on Saturday.
Green Bay will have a lot of work to do if they want to top either Las Vegas, which will host the draft this year, or Cleveland, which will host the draft in 2021. Kansas City has already been declared the host of the 2023 draft, and Green Bay also considered itself in competition for the 2024 honor.
Packers fans are a passionate bunch, so we can only imagine the pure, unbridled chaos that will go down when Green Bay announces their pick that year. If Titans fans could drown out the commissioner with noise like they did last year in Nashville, so can Packers fans.
Green Bay might be the smallest market in the league, but the fans there are unmatched in terms of raw, unfiltered passion. As long as you dress appropriately, this could be a perfect location for the draft.
