This Packers-Texans Trade for Kenny Stills Would Give Davante Adams Much-Needed Relief

Bill O'Brien is in the middle of systematically dismantling the Houston Texans, as he has traded away the likes of DeAndre Hopkins and Jadeveon Clowney without recouping a first-round pick. Next on the chopping block could be wide receiver Kenny Stills, who the Texans acquired from the Miami Dolphins just a year ago.

Stills is likely going to be the "odd man out" after Houston traded for Brandin Cooks and and signed Randall Cobb to play alongside Will Fuller.

Stills would be a perfect fit in Green Bay, as his speed could make him a viable No. 2 receiver next to Davante Adams.

The Packers will need to free up a bit of space to take on Stills, who is in the last year of a four-year, $32 million deal he signed in Miami. Sending offensive lineman Lane Taylor, who lost his starting job to Elgton Jenkins, along with a fifth or sixth-round pick to Houston will be enough for O'Brien to part with Stills.

This deal comes with minimal risk for Green Bay. Stills is likely on the move due to a logjam at receiver, which could knock his price down a bit. Davante Adams has been begging for a No. 2 wideout that can stretch the field, and Stills can do just that, and then some.
