Packers WR Davante Adams Expected to Miss Time With Turf Toe
By Chris Pyo

The Green Bay Packers' offensive depth just got a whole lot thinner after yesterday's Thursday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. And when I say thin, I mean razor thin.
Star wideout Davante Adams is expected to miss some time with a turf toe injury. That's a huge blow to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers receiving corps, and if he needs season-ending surgery, that's going to be a death sentence.

Adams exited the game in the fourth quarter in the midst of a career performance, having posted 180 receiving yards on 10 receptions, including 107 yards on six catches in the first quarter alone.
After one quarter, Davante Adams is on pace for 428 receiving yards.

After the game, Adams conducted his routine postgame interview, and he told reporters that he didn't even want to try and put his shoes on because his turf toe was too painful.
It remains to be seen how long Adams will be out, but turf toe is typically a lingering injury that could affect his entire season.

Rodgers might have a bit of trouble keeping the Packers afloat if Adams misses time, considering his No. 1 target will potentially be Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Geronimo Allison and Jimmy Graham haven't entirely proved to be overly reliable.
To add insult to injury, the Packers couldn't even pull out the win, losing to the Carson Wentz-led Eagles 34-27.
