The likelihood of Davante Adams starting in one of the biggest games of the year for the Green Bay Packers is officially looking like a long shot.

The superstar wide receiver is listed as doubtful for the Packers' primetime matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. Adams has been dealing with turf toe for an extended period of time this season.

He's missed each of the last three games for the Packers due to the injury. Prior to that, he had been an absolute force on offense for Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur, logging an impressive 378 receiving yards through the first four weeks of the season.

The offense has fared just fine without him, though. In Week 7, Rodgers and the Packers torched the Oakland Raiders for 481 yards and 42 points.

Still, it would help things tremendously if Adams was able to suit up. The Packers don't have many threats like him that they can go to when they need a big play or a score in the red zone.

The good news is that Patrick Mahomes has been ruled out for the Chiefs, so the Packers could steal another crucial win without their best playmaker.
