Packers WR Davante Adams Ruled Out for MNF vs Lions
By Parker White
If the Green Bay Packers are going to defeat the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football, they'll have to do it without their best wide receiver Davante Adams, as he's been ruled out for the game.
Obviously, this is a blow for Green Bay and star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Adams missed last week's game against the Dallas Cowboys because of a turf toe injury, and it's apparent that it hasn't improved enough for him to suit up this week.
Of course, Adams' description of the injury should make Packers fans worried that he'll be out even longer than just the couple weeks he's missed thus far.
Fortunately for Green Bay, they did get some good news for the offensive line, as center Corey Linsley (concussion) will be good to go.
Back to Adams, though he'll be missed, the Packers offense did find a way to move the ball and score points without their best offensive weapon to defeat the Cowboys last week, which is encouraging.
In four games this season, Adams has 25 receptions for 378 yards.
