Packers WR Jake Kumerow Could Be Big Target for Aaron Rodgers With Davante Adams Out
By Ryan Giglio

The Green Bay Packers' offense got off to a slow start this season, thanks partly to a new scheme.
The Aaron Rodgers-led unit finally looked great and in-synch after scoring 27 points in Weeks 3 and 4.
Though wideout Davante Adams has been ruled out for Sunday's game, the offense may not skip a beat thanks to Jake Kumerow, who could step up in a big way in Week 5.
Without Adams, the Packers figure to start Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison at receiver but could turn to Jake Kumerow to pick up some of the slack. https://t.co/phlca4bYD3

The chemistry between Rodgers and the unproven wide receiver has been a big topic in Green Bay throughout the summer. Rodgers even stated his love for Kumerow's natural abilities in June.
Aaron Rodgers really likes Jake Kumerow.

However, a strong training camp for Kumerow has resulted in only one 12-yard reception this season and a shoulder injury that sidelined him for two games.
Without Adams, head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters this week that Kumerow should get more opportunities to contribute against the Cowboys this week.
Injuries happen to every team, but the Packers will always been in a great position to win as long as Rodgers is healthy. Great quarterbacks typically tend to make their receivers better than they actually are. Green Bay will hope Rodgers can prove his greatness and lead the team to a victory on Sunday.
