It didn't long for linebackers Preston Smith and Za'Darius Smith, the Green Bay Packers' marquee offseason signings on defense, to make an impact with their new team. The two standouts absolutely demoralized Mitch Trubisky and the Chicago Bears in their season-opening fixture last Thursday on the road at Soldier Field. Za'Darius logged three QB hits and one sack in his debut, while Preston recorded 1.5 sacks and five tackles.

Now, the Smiths are calling upon the Lambeau Field faithful to weigh in on a proposal they made to head coach Matt LeFleur to help rally the crowd and unnerve visiting opponents: create a special third down hype video to be debuted during Sunday's NFC North showdown against the Vikings.

Somewhere in Wisconsin, presumably at their team hotel, Mike Zimmer and Kirk Cousins just simultaneously cringed.

Forget Packers fans for a second. What sane, unbiased football fan would reject the proposition of Lambeau Field becoming THAT much more hostile?

Count us IN.

Do yourselves a favor and tune into the Green Bay-Minnesota game on Sunday. Something tells us this hype video will be cant-miss content if and when it becomes reality.
