By Ian Anderson

The Carolina Panthers' coaching search continues and they're looking at some college football coaches as well as ones that are currently in the pros.
No. 7 ranked Baylor Bears' head coach Matt Rhule is one of those coaches as the Panthers have plans to interview him.
The Panthers plan to interview Baylor coach Matt Rhule, 44, for their head coaching job, per source. Rhule's team is playing Georgia in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day. Owner David Tepper said it would be a tough transition for a college coach, but... https://t.co/COCXYxBNL3

Rhule and his team are playing in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day against the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs. A good performance against Georgia could help propel Rhule's rise to the NFL.
The Baylor head coach has done a great job with his program, but the jump directly from college to the pros is a big one. Not many coaches have done it and have been successful somewhat instantly.
That being said, Rhule could be a good fit in Carolina as the Bears currently boast the No. 17 scoring offense in the nation as well as the No. 16 scoring defense.
Perry Fewell said he had a possible staff in mind, but didn't want to get into that.

"My focus is to win on Sunday right now. I have not and will not talk about what I plan to do, how I plan to approach that situation, just because I want to stay focused on the job at hand."
One thing is for certain in Carolina, interim head coach Perry Fewell is not the answer.
Fewell has lost all three games since being named interim coach by a combined score of 108-50. Yikes.
