Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater Went on an Insane Bike Ride in Florida This Weekend Like a Total Beast
By Michael Luciano
There are some around the league who questioned Teddy Bridgewater's ability to be a franchise quarterback after he signed a three-year deal to lead the Carolina Panthers, but what can't be questioned is his unreal endurance.
Bridgewater gave us a sneak peek at his insane cardio routine, revealing he almost rode 75 miles on his bike in just under five hours, going from Miami to West Palm Beach.
Bridgewater is bringing a whole new meaning to the term "mobile quarterback."
The former Vikings and Saints quarterback signed a three-year, $60 million deal with Carolina after his impressive stint as Drew Brees' deputy in New Orleans. If he can ride halfway up the state of Florida on a bike without losing a ton of speed, navigating an NFL pass rush isn't going to be that much of a challenge.
For all the futuristic workouts that the likes of Tom Brady have provided us with, few things are as good for staying fit as just getting on a bike and riding forever. Expect Bridgewater to have 2% body fat once the season rolls around if he keeps doing this.
