There had been rumors swirling in terms of Bridgewater's future with Carolina, but after the team traded for Sam Darnold, the writing was on the wall for him. Next up, Denver.

With Bridgewater no longer with the team, the question remains whether or not the Panthers will take a QB with the No. 9 pick. Is Darnold the long-term answer? Probably not. If a guy like Justin Fields is there for the taking, the Panthers would be wise to take him.
