VIDEO: Patrick Corbin's Slider is a Deadly Weapon and Should Not Be Legal

Patrick Corbin's had a really solid first season with the Washington Nationals, and he's pretty much unhittable when his ultra-deadly slider is locked in. Having a pitch with this much break off the plate should not be allowed by law, nor should it be possible within the constraints of earthly physics.

That thing just drops out of the strike zone with no regard to the fruitless swings of the St. Louis Cardinals batters. Only two of those ten pitches were even remotely close to the strike zone, with the other eight pitches resulting in a bunch of useless flailing swings. Marcell Ozuna looks like a straight up fool trying to make contact with any of those pitches.

Corbin is 12-7 on the season with a 3.20 ERA and 213 strikeouts. Come playoff time, he'll be an absolute weapon for the Nats.
