Patrick Mahomes Calls Amazing Aaron Rodgers Throw Best He's Ever Seen
By Brady Williams

With no games being played, it's a time for some reminiscing about some of the best sports moments of all time. It's no different for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and incumbent Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, who took to Twitter on Wednesday night to offer some thoughts on an old highlight.
The NFL tweeted a throwback video of Aaron Rodgers making a spectacular throw, and Mahomes went as far as to say it's possible the best he's ever seen.
They need to show the coaches film on this throw! Best throw I think I have ever seen! https://t.co/dYkck61Jj7

It's hard to disagree. Rodgers is a practitioner of the style of quarterbacking Mahomes is currently refining and perfecting. Using his legs to avoid would-be tacklers from all angles, then delivering a dime from nearly 40 yards out, all while being hit, is nothing short of incredible. It's not hard to imagine Mahomes pulling something like that off, either.
So the latest Patrick Mahomes training camp highlight is an off-balance bomb of a TD to Mecole Hardman while he was rolling to his right. You might be impressed. But the MVP isn't. "It's probably the ugliest 60-yard pass I've ever thrown in my life, but it got there." #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/3XNlzMYmXa

What's heartbreaking about the play is the flag. A pass that the current best quarterback in the NFL says is the greatest one he's witnessed had to be overturned because of some obvious holding. At least the tape lasts forever, and we can enjoy some great highlights along with with Mahomes.
