VIDEO: Patrick Mahomes Gets Chiefs Fans Ready With Excellent Hype Clip
By Scott Rogust
This particular NFL offseason has been unlike any other. No in-person free agent interviews or offseason team activities took place due to the ongoing global pandemic. Even so, training camp is scheduled to go on as planned on July 28. We've seen players post their workout clips through their social media accounts the past couple of months, but on Saturday, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes stepped up his game and posted a professionally edited video with the caption, "Coming soon..."
That loud rumbling you heard wasn't Fourth of July fireworks. Rather, it was the entire Chiefs fanbase running through the closest wall in their vicinity.
It didn't take long for Mahomes to reach the NFL's mountaintop. In his first full season as Chiefs starter in 2018, Mahomes ran away with the league MVP award. Earlier this year, Mahomes' explosive play helped give Kansas City their first Super Bowl victory in 50 years. Now, the 24-year-old signal caller is working to turn the Chiefs into the NFL's next dynasty, and that's evident through this rigorous exercise routine that will put the average Joe and Jane to shame.
With Tom Brady now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the AFC runs through Mahomes and the Chiefs. Good luck to the other 15 teams in the conference, because a motivated Patrick Mahomes is a scary Patrick Mahomes.
