Patrick Mahomes' High School Classmate Predicted His Super Bowl Victory in Their Yearbook
By Michael Luciano

The Kansas City Chiefs rode a mercurial performance from superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a 31-20 win over Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.
Mahomes emerged as a superstar during his second year in the league, but those who have been following the QB for a while have seen his stardom coming a long way off. That includes his high school classmates, one of whom predicted Mahomes would have a Super Bowl to boast by the time they returned for their high school reunion.

Spencer Shaw, future NFL GM. It is written in stone.
While Shaw certainly had faith in his former classmate's football ability, he probably didn't expect him to become the most phenomenal quarterback talent we've seen in the last few decades. Mahomes isn't even 25 years old yet, and he already has a 50-touchdown season, an MVP award, a championship and a Super Bowl MVP.

Mahomes might have surprised some Twitter scouts with his ascension to the top of the NFL, but Shaw and the rest of his classmates aren't surprised one bit.
