Patrick Mahomes rightfully named NFL MVP after brilliant 2022

It's been an amazing season for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the star signal-caller isn't done just yet. Come Sunday night, Mahomes will look to capture his second Super Bowl title.

Leading up to that, though, Mahomes got some great news on Thursday night, taking home NFL MVP honors for the second time in his career. There was no doubt that No. 15 deserved this.

Time and time again, Mahomes has reminded people why he's the best player in the league. Whether he throws for touchdowns or runs for them, opposing defenses have no answer in trying to stop him. Mahomes will now hope he can win Super Bowl MVP later this week as well.
