VIDEO: Patrick Mahomes Hits Travis Kelce for Late TD to Keep Chiefs Alive in Super Bowl LIV

The Chiefs aren't dead just yet! Despite a horrific outing from former MVP Patrick Mahomes to this point, the 49ers defense is starting to show some cracks. Mahomes hit speedster Tyreek Hill, who was left uncovered, for a big 3rd and 15 conversion, followed by a PI call on a 49ers DB for face-guarding Travis Kelce. Just one play later, Mahomes found Kelce to put the Chiefs within a field goal.

The throw to Hill, which at first appeared to be another example of Mahomes magic, was a clear miscommunication on the 49ers' part. While they surely deserve some blame, it's the ability of a great QB to take advantage of such mistakes.
