Patrick Mahomes Tweets in Disbelief After Derek Jeter Wasn't Unanimously Voted Into Hall of Fame

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is one the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but the gunslinger also has a strong connection to baseball. Mahomes' father was a professional baseball player, spending 11 seasons in the MLB as a pitcher.
In between Mahomes' preparation for the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb. 2, the Chiefs' star took time to tune in to the baseball Hall of Fame vote. After the announcement, he shared the same feeling of disbelief as many others did upon discovering Derek Jeter had not been voted in unanimously. He took to Twitter to question how Jeter hadn't earned 100% of the votes.
Yep, he's just as confused and disgusted as the rest of us.
Mahomes wasn't the only one enraged by Jeter not being a unanimous Hall of Famer, as many others, including Rich Eisen, took to Twitter in search of the individual who left the legendary shortstop of their ballot.
Well, fans will have to wait a while in order to discover how baseball writers voted, but it's safe to say the individual responsible for Jeter not becoming the second unanimous Hall of Famer will surely have some explaining to do.
