Patrick Patterson Agrees to 1-Year Deal With Clippers
By Michael Luciano

Days after adding Tyronn Lue to the coaching staff, Doc Rivers is signing another tough, veteran presence to the end of the Los Angeles Clippers' bench.
While a deal had been in the works for months, the Clippers finally signed former Oklahoma City Thunder forward Patrick Patterson to a one-year contract.
Free agent forward Patrick Patterson has agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources tell ESPN.

After being drafted 14th overall in the 2010 draft out of Kentucky, Patterson has bounced around the NBA as a starter and reserve for the last decade, serving stints with the Rockets, Raptors, and Kings.
He played in Oklahoma City for the last two seasons, averaging 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 2018/19 for the Thunder, who bought him out as Sam Presti continued to shake up the roster and get younger.
OKC and Patrick Patterson have agreed to a buyout, allowing him to become a free agent.

Patterson will be hard-pressed to get consistent playing time, but he's a tough, savvy addition that is looking to ride Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to a championship ring.
