Patriots Activating OL Isaiah Wynn and Placing Gunner Olszewski on IR
By Ian Anderson

Is this missing man the key to the New England Patriots' offensive woes? We'll find out soon.
We're not celebrating the return of Rob Gronkowski, but rather a more realistic flashpoint: former first-round offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn is back on the line in an effort to get the Patriots' offense rolling again.

Wynn is being activated off IR after being sidelined since Week 2 with turf toe, with wide receiver Gunner Olszewski heading to the injured list to make space.
Since being selected with the No. 23 overall pick by New England in 2018, the former Georgia Bulldog has only played one full NFL game in two seasons.
In his only contest, a Week 1 33-3 clobbering of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Wynn performed very well. He helped the Pats to 465 yards of total offense while quarterback Tom Brady was only sacked once.
Isaiah Wynn played 82 regular season snaps before being placed on IR.

Wynn gave up just 1 hit on 45 pass blocking snaps, giving him a 77.4 Pass Blocking Grade in his limited NFL action. https://t.co/BtnoumPaqv
The left tackle might be just what the stagnant Pats offense needs.
Brady was hit six times by a solid Philadelphia Eagles front line this week, constantly pressured all night by the likes of Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. A paltry 3.4 yards per carry on the ground doesn't help either, so inserting Wynn into the left tackle position can only help New England.
