Patriots Beat Writer Somehow Comes Up With Rough Antonio Brown Take After Bills Game
By Chris Pyo
Some people just won't let Antonio Brown go. And they really need to.
After everything the NFL has gone through involving Brown and his antics, including his latest grievance claim against the Raiders, one New England Patriots beat writer still had the guts to state that Sunday's contest proved the Pats needed to retain Brown and utilize his services if they wanted to be truly elite.
Talk about the defense. Talk about the gritty effort. Do not talk about Antonio Brown, an obvious luxury item no matter what the result of Sunday's game was (and, by the way, how would AB have solved Tom Brady's problems?).
Plus...really? After Brown was accused of sexual assault by multiple women? After the hell Brown put the Steelers and Raiders through? After Brown called out Robert Kraft on his massage tendencies on Twitter?
This just goes to show that some people are still struggling to come to terms with how ethically and morally wrong it would have been to keep Brown on the Patriots, including a lot of people within the Patriots organization.
The fact of the matter is that this Bostonian beat writer is throwing away his ethical standards in the name of Pats football. Just be happy that you're undefeated to start off the season and leave AB alone. He doesn't deserve any more attention as it stands.
