In what has been a scary past few days for Patriots center David Andrews, finally, some good news has been reported.

Andrews was hospitalized with a blood clot in his lungs which could not only put his NFL season in jeopardy, but his life too.

He received some good news as he was released from the hospital on Monday.

Andrews was expected to possibly miss the entire upcoming season due to the blood clot, but his release from the hospital is a step in the right direction.

He missed two straight practices after playing the entire first half in the Patriots last preseason game. Andrews joined the Pats in 2015 as an undrafted free agent. He was named a co-captain in 2017 and has started 57 games since his rookie season.

Despite the quick release from the hospital, Andrew's still has a long way back to return to the field. His health will ultimately come before any other physical activities and blood clots can be damaging enough to end careers.

Andrews looks to be on his way to a strong recovery thanks to his quick release from the hospital.
