The NFL announced all the compensatory picks for the 2020 draft on Tuesday. Teams can get up to four picks that range from rounds three to seven.

The picks go to teams who lost top players to free agency the year prior and the New England Patriots have received the maximum allotment of four picks to make up for lost talent.

The Patriots lost the likes of Trey Flowers, Cordarrelle Patterson and Trent Brown last offseason. Getting two extra third-round picks and the two in the sixth round isn't a bad return for a team that may need to rebuild a bit if Tom Brady signs elsewhere.

Brady's fate is hanging over the franchise (among others), but the team will know what his decision is by the time the draft rolls around. Bill Belichick is always prepared, and letting some top talent walk last offseason has now paid off in the form of extra picks.
