Patriots Fans Might Lose Their Minds After Reading NFL Insiders' Possible Replacement for Tom Brady

The Red Rocket gets the call in from Josh McDaniels. Oh sweet heavens, can you imagine if that's the case come 2020 for the New England Patriots?
With Tom Brady about to test the waters in free agency, it actually feels like there's a good chance he'll end up playing elsewhere next season. When looking at potential replacements for one of the best quarterbacks of all time, could Andy Dalton be the one to run the offense for Bill Belichick next year?

That loud thud you just heard was 100,000 people in the Boston area all fainting and hitting the deck at the same time. The thought of going from Brady to Dalton just sounds criminal. Even worse? It's been speculated by NFL insider Ian Rapoport and Peter King.
In his time with New England, all Brady has done is appear in nine Super Bowls, bringing home the Vince Lombardi Trophy six times. Dalton's middle name is interception, and his time with the Bengals has been a complete nightmare in recent years.
With Cincinnati owning the No. 1 overall pick, all signs are pointing to Joe Burrow heading to the Bengals, with Dalton basically having one foot out the door despite having one year left on his deal.
NFL free agency begins one month from today, with Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Dak Prescott, Philip Rivers, Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, AJ Green, Amari Cooper, Chris Jones, Yannick Ngakoue, Jadeveon Clowney and Shaq Barrett amongst those currently scheduled to hit the open market.

Once free agency heats up, teams are going to be lining up to try and sign Brady away from the Pats. Dalton? Not so much, and the idea of him going to New England to take over the reigns of the O is nothing short of comical.
