VIDEO: Patriots Fans Virtually Boo the Crap Out of Roger Goodell During NFL Draft Day 2

The more things change, the more they stay the same. While the 2020 NFL Draft used a different format than years past for obvious reasons, the hatred for commissioner Roger Goodell is still at an all-time high, especially up in New England. Usually, Patriots fans trek to the draft so they can let Goodell hear it in-person. But on Day 2 of the virtual draft, Pats Nation used a Zoom call to boo the commish from his basement in Bronxville, NY.

Give those fans credit, they were unanimously the loudest fan base to occupy Goodell's television screen on Friday night. But you can attribute that to Goodell awkwardly egging them on.

Even though the Patriots won six Super Bowls in this century, their fan base has venomous hatred for Goodell. That's because the NFL's boss was the one who handed down the Spygate and Deflategate punishments to the organization, which resulted in a loss of draft capital and the four-game suspension of ex-quarterback Tom Brady in 2016.

Luckily for Patriots fans, they got all of their jeers out of their way on Friday evening, because Goodell won't be announcing picks on Day 2. There will be no encore performance from the Patriots faithful.
