Patriots' Jonathan Jones Avoids Fine for Wild Hit That Concussed Josh Allen and the NFL is Criminal
By Parker White

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered a brutal, unnecessary helmet-to-helmet hit by New England Patriots defensive back Jonathan Jones, which ended up landing him in the concussion protocol.
To make matters worse, Jones avoided a fine for that hit, which was clearly illegal.
#Patriots DB Jonathan Jones, whose hit landed #Bills QB Josh Allen in the concussion protocol, was not fined, source said. It was determined Jones turned his shoulder to stop the runner (who is not defenseless), while the runner is being tackled, falling forward and down.

How is this allowed?
Jonathan Jones hit on Josh Allen was 10xs worse than the Vontaze Burfict hit. Jones isn’t even facing a 1 game suspension.. #NFL c’mon now..

Also if an elite QB got hit like this that defender career would be over... can’t keep picking & choosing ??♂️ pic.twitter.com/MnhsI5iWzr
Isn't the NFL all about safety and protecting its quarterbacks? There was helmet-to-helmet action there for sure, despite the fact Jones turned his shoulder at the last second in an attempt to avoid it.
Patriots CB Jonathan Jones was not fined for the hit against Bills QB Josh Allen, per a source.

Luckily Allen has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play on Sunday. You hope that had no impact on the NFL's ruling. Whether it was malicious or not, Jones did knock Allen in the head and forced him out of a game the Bills could've very much won if he was available.
Chalk this up as another unnecessary victory for the Patriots since they have the NFL in their back pocket. Bills fans should be furious the league allowed their QB to be put in this kind of danger with no repercussions.
