Patriots WR Julian Edelman Posts Perfect Picture With Tom Brady on Twitter Following News of QB's Departure
By Michael Luciano

While New England Patriots fans are currently in a state of severe depression after Tom Brady confirmed that he will not come back to the team for the 2020 season, his now-former teammates are currently suffering through an even more potent wave of emotions.
Julian Edelman, who was helped in his transition from quarterback and seventh-round pick to star wide receiver by TB12 over the last decade, posted a picture of him and Brady at Gillette Stadium, with the word "Family" serving as the caption.

Brady's legacy in New England is totally secure, as the nine Super Bowl appearances and six championships he brought to a franchise that had a grand total of zero titles prior to his arrival will live on forever.
However, the offer reportedly presented to Brady by New England was lower than what some other clubs are said to be willing to pay. After years of pay cuts, he deserves a payday.
20 years of greatness.

Even though this has been in the works for weeks, and Pats Nation still has two decades worth of memories to choose from when it comes to remembering Brady, this news still comes as a bit of a shock. For the first time since the new millennium, Tom Brady will not be a New England Patriot. It's clearly hitting Julian Edelman, that's for sure.
