Patriots Luck Out Yet Again as Browns Become Latest Team to Botch Josh McDaniels Negotiations

Josh McDaniels is a huge asset to the New England Patriots, having been a part of all six of the Patriots dynasty's Super Bowl wins. His ability to get the most out of his NFL offenses and his tight connection with Tom Brady have all been a big part of the team's success. Naturally, if other NFL teams think they have a chance to poach him from the Patriots, they will try their best to hire him.
The Patriots got lucky again, though, as one more potential suitor of McDaniels has fallen. The Browns decided to go a different route, instead picking Kevin Stefanski. New England fans are rejoicing, as the connection between McDaniels staying put and Tom Brady coming back cannot be understated.

Josh McDaniels will be BACK with the New England Patriots this season.
Which means likely Tom Brady will also be back.
Saddle up for Super Bowl 7 baby.
This isn't the first time the Patriots have gotten lucky that McDaniels stayed. In 2018, McDaniels was given the head coaching job of the Indianapolis Colts, but he backed out after the team announced the deal.
It's incredibly surprising the Browns would skip out on McDaniels' services, as he would be able to help Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham Jr. lead the team into the playoffs. For some reason though, the Browns went a different route.
Browns: “What can you bring to our team?”

Josh McDaniels: “I’ve got HC experience, and I’ve been a successful OC for years.”
Browns: “Eh...”
Kevin Stefanski: “Blowout losses that will make you regret watching football.”
Browns: “Perfect. That’s the Browns way. You’re hired.”
With McDaniels back leading the offense, look for the Patriots to march into the playoffs once again next year. They'll be hungry to once again get to the Super Bowl.
