Patriots Poised to Make Major Uniform Changes for 2020 Season
By Michael Luciano

The New England Patriots have one of the cleanest and most distinctive uniform combinations in the NFL, but the creative team in Foxborough appears ready to tinker with them and make some changes.
The Patriots are expected to make major changes to their uniforms after two decades of sticking with their current color scheme and look, per multiple sources, and will announce them on social media shortly in April (along with their new enemies in Tampa Bay).
I can confirm the Patriots are making changes to their uniforms. It should be revealed on social media next month.

New England's inaugural uniforms, which they kept until the '90s, are widely considered to be among the best in all of football, as the logo of a Revolutionary War minuteman hiking the football is one of the most classic looks in football.
A rebrand instituted the logo that was originally derided as "Touchdown Elvis" and created uniforms that slapped a giant logo on both shoulder pads, creating one of the most hideous uniforms of all time.
And it would obviously be great to see these come back as alternates. The Patriots started selling them in the pro shop last season, and they were wildly popular. Helmets would need to be uniform, though. (Couldn't have white for the primary and silver for the alts). pic.twitter.com/g1zPFbibqC

The team has since learned from their mistakes, as they switched to a combination of navy blue, silver, and red in 2000 that stands out as one of the most simple, yet sleek uniforms in football today.
Hopefully New England realizes what they have in their current uniforms and simply tweaks them rather than making a major change. The Los Angeles Rams already fumbled their rebrand, and we can't afford another marquee franchise to mess their new look up.
