Patriots Reportedly Acquire Veteran WR Mohamed Sanu From the Falcons

The Patriots are off to a 7-0 start, dominating every team that tries to take them down. Now, their offense will only be getting stronger, as they've made a move to bolster their wide receivers unit.
With injuries limiting Tom Brady's options in the aerial attack, New England has reportedly gone out and acquired veteran WR Mohamed Sanu from the Atlanta Falcons. The Pats are sending a second-round pick to ATL for Sanu.

This deal makes total sense for both organizations. The Pats sure needed some offensive help, while the Falcons have seen their season sputter and have majorly disappointed in the wide open NFC South. Atlanta is 1-6 on the year, losers of five straight.
Injuries indeed have been a problem for the Pats receivers, as Josh Gordon missed Monday's win over the Jets with a bum ankle/knee, while Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett played with ribs and hamstring ailments, respectively.

On the season, Sanu has hauled in 33 balls for 313 yards and a touchdown. Now, he'll go from one of the worst teams in the league to a squad favored to win the Lombardi Trophy in February.
