Following the news that center David Andrews might miss the entire season due to blood clots in his lung and their general lack of depth at offensive tackle, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots decided to trade for some offensive line help.

The Patriots acquired offensive tackle Korey Cunningham from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a sixth round pick.

Cunningham was picked third-to-last, 254th overall to be more precise, in the 2018 NFL draft by Arizona. A former stud at Cincinnati, Cunningham started six games for the Cardinals last year, all of which came at left tackle.

Cunningham was one of the worst offenders on a porous offensive line that saw Josh Rosen beaten to a pulp during his only year in Arizona, as he had trouble dealing with the plethora of speed rushers the NFC West has to offer.

However, he is still athletic and strong for a 310 pound tackle, so the potential is there.

This may sound like a minor move, but he'll probably become an All-Pro once Dante Scarnecchia works his usual sorcery on Cunningham.
