Patriots Reportedly Would Not Have Signed Antonio Brown if Robert Kraft Knew of Sexual Assault Suit
By Sam Dunn

Antonio Brown has officially played a real game in a New England Patriots uniform, hauling in four catches for 54 yards and a touchdown. But, just because he's apparently a player in good standing with his team and the NFL at the moment, it doesn't mean all is suddenly well in AB's world.
Of course, there's still a lawsuit hanging over him that accuses him of committing rape and sexual assault against a former trainer, Britney Taylor. And according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Patriots owner Robert Kraft wouldn't have permitted the team to sign Brown if he had known of the allegations.

It's still far from clear who knew what and when. Did Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, really conceal the existence of the lawsuit from pretty much every last relevant party? We cannot say for sure at this time, and perhaps we'll never really know-- but it sure sounds like what Kraft would be suggesting here.
In the meantime, Brown's status in the weeks to come isn't exactly set in stone given that more legal fireworks could still pop.
Part of a relatively long conversation between the Krafts and the Rosenhaus duo. Robert did most of the talking #Patriots reportedly unaware of the allegations that surfaced against Antonio Brown. pic.twitter.com/P0AoZJUror

As it stands, Taylor is set to meet with the NFL on Monday to discuss this ongoing situation. Get strapped in, because this story isn't going anyway any time soon.
